Yarn Review

So when my absolutely favorite dyer got lace yarn, I found it soooo hard to resist the temptation I had to try it. Now I must admit I am not usually a fan of lace yarn or patterns for that matter, I am much more a sock and hat kinda girl. I have only once before tried lace, and although I didn't hate it, I really didn't plan on knitting with lace yarn again anytime soon. But I must admit the Boolace Sarah got in, is absolutely amazing stuff, the sheen is amazing because of the bamboo, it is also fairly strong (it didn't snap once), and it slid beautifully on my wood knitpicks.
I chose the la-cumparsita pattern by Marnie Maclean, it is such a well written pattern, the charts are easy to follow and the end product is really beautiful to see how mine came out here is the ravelry linky

A new blog, well sort of

Somehow, I managed to lock myself out of my blog, I have forgotten my password and the blog was linked to an old email address I no longer have access too.
So Today is the start of a new day of blogging for me, much has happened since the last time I blogged. Much knitting and sewing has been done, I have made a huge effort to get involved with some craft fairs. This Saturday will be my third one, at the Vintage Pretty Fair, which is being held at Old Orleans in Cardiff from 12pm to 5pm. Here is the face book event page
I also got my knitting project bags into a knitting shop in Kent, and had quite a few custom bag requests too. So all this other stuff has effected my uploading new things to my etsy shop, I just need to find a balance of time.
